The official website for the anime Overlord, which is an adaptation of the light novel written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by So-bin, revealed the third promotional video for the fourth season of the project.
The video confirmed that the series will premiere on July 5, 2022 in Japan, and shows a portion of the opening and ending theme song. Duo OxT (Masayoshi Oishi and [email protected]) sing the opening theme song titled “HOLLOW HUNGER” and singer Mayu Maeshima sing the ending theme song titled “No Man’s Dawn“.
Overlord Season 4 Trailer
Authors Maruyama and So-bin have published the light novel through publisher Kadokawa since July 2012. The publisher published the fourteenth volume in March 2020. A manga adaptation by Satoshi Oushio and Hugin Miyama has been published since November 2014. .
An animated film titled Overlord: Sei Ookoku-hen is already confirmed, but a release date has yet to be announced.

Overlord Synopsis
When a very popular MMORPG announces it will be shut down permanently, a veteran player refuses to log out: Momonga. As NPCs begin to develop personalities and minds of their own, he decides to use his skills to become the game’s new boss.
